From the beginning, Americans have been in awe of the natural wonder of this great country. The early stamps pictured on this page, like many other stamps of their era, were miniature tributes to the inspiring forests and resources of our nation. In 1960, the year our company was founded, there were two other stamps made. These not only glorified our great forests, but expressed the importance of their conservation. HWP is a family-owned company, so we have a special interest in the continuation of our natural resources.
